We still have power. *crosses fingers*

We are concerned about our neighbor’s tree, but if it falls the way we expect, it’ll take out some fences and maybe a telephone line, but probably not anything more serious than that. 

My copy of The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook arrived today, and it is making me want to cook ALL THE THINGS. If we have power, tomorrow it’ll be the Maple Bacon Biscuits in celebration. And possibly the Apple Cider Caramels. If the power goes out after that, well, I’ll be offering them to Pepco crews to entice them to our neighborhood sooner. ;)
