You know, I’m a pretty decent dancer for my experience level. But I would look like a big, clumsy, dancing bear if I attempted this. Clearly more practice is needed.
The slightly taller woman is Aishwarya Rai. I’ve heard her compared to Angelina Jolie- beautiful, good dancer, not much of an actress. But she’s ridiculously famous and successful and is a member of possibly an even more famous and successful Bollywood family.
The slightly shorter woman is Madhuri Dixit, who is legen…wait for it… dary. This was her last movie before dropping off the scene for a bit. When she was doing movies regularly, she was pretty much the only female bankable Bollywood star. If you mention her to pretty much any of my dance teachers, they all get the same starry-eyed look on their faces as they sigh, “Madhuriiii…”
