I agree with you. But to be fair, Twitter has received its fair share of hate over the years, and there’s still the “who cares what you had for breakfast?!” crowd.
Certainly it does, but a lot of that comes from people who are not themselves avid social media users. A lot of the Pinterest hate comes from people who are ALL ABOUT FB, Tumblr, Twitter… but think Pinterest is stupid. It’s not anti-social media snobbery; it’s sexism.
