She kind of looks like a “Kit” to me. There’s something about the bike that makes me think of WW2, and that makes me think of a League of Their Own and now all I can think of is Tom Hanks yelling “THERE’S NO CRYING IN CYCLING”
I’m kind of digging “Kit,” and that suggestion has been seconded. I agree that she has sort of a 1940s sensibility to her, and had been thinking she needed a classic name. “Francie,” after the girl in A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, was something I was kicking around, but “Kit” has a nice sort of plucky heroine ring to it, PLUS it evokes “Knight Rider,” which is a nice bonus.
Or… OR I could go in a completely different direction and give her a geek name. Like “Serenity.” Because love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down.
