FWIW, when I was working at a majority-black company (like 90% black, 10% white, which was SUPER educational btw) I did idly note that mac’n’cheese did seem to be commonplace on my black colleagues’ Thanksgiving tables and not at all common on the tables of my white colleagues.
Which is regrettable, frankly, because mac’n’cheese has it ALL OUT over that nasty-ass green bean casserole.
