Tumblr’s anti-SOPA page, with information (from reputable, knowledgeable sources) on why the PROTECT-IP bill and the Stop Internet Privacy Act are actually terrible, horrible ideas that would break the Internet. (The idea of having to use a DNS server in another country because the ones in the US are required to censor the Internet is offensive to me as an American.)

As a person who creates intellectual property, and enjoys the work of other creators who depend on it for their living, I support anti-piracy efforts, but only when they don’t break the Internet for everybody.

Please contact your Congressional representatives and ask them to vote against this bill. I’d contact mine, but I don’t have any.
